Who can play tennis at Royal Palm?
Members may play as often as they like, day or evening, based on court availability. A guest may accompany a member no more than twice a month. Adult non-members may participate in cardio clinics, and Junior non-members may participate in Junior tennis programs.*
Why should I join Royal Palm?
Royal Palm is the ideal place to play if you are passionate about tennis. You will be a part of a friendly family of players who take advantage of a myriad of tennis and social activities. For over 50 years, the club has been synonymous with great tennis in South Florida. Beginners to accomplished players enjoy their choice of singles, doubles, and mixed matches, weekly groups and tennis instruction in a friendly, tranquil environment. A maximum membership of 290, and 21 courts (15 lit) ensure that our members rarely wait to play. In addition, membership fees and dues are quite reasonable for a private club conveniently located in Miami-Dade County.
How do I become a member and how much does it cost?

What programs do you offer for beginners?
For young children, the club is one of the few facilities in South Florida to be able to offer tiny tots and beginner tennis instruction using “quickstart” mini courts. An expert pro staff teach proper technique to adults through lessons and clinics.
Can I get advice on how to get started, and what equipment I will need?
Absolutely. Our expert USPTA certified pro staff will be happy to assist you with all of your tennis needs.
Can I buy tennis equipment at the club?
The pro shop offers tennis accessories such as tennis balls, hats, sweatbands, grips, and a limited selection of clothing. Members may drop off their racquets for overnight stringing services.
Are there high-level players at Royal Palm?
Over the years, the club’s membership has included men and women who have been highly-rated touring professionals, top juniors, and former college standouts. The Junior tennis program is considered one of the best in Florida, and our Academy players are consistently offered spots on Division 1 level college tennis teams.
How many teaching professionals are at the club?
The club currently has 14 USPTA certified pros on staff to ensure instruction is available day and evenings.
How many courts does the club have?
21 courts: 19 clay, 2 hard. 17 courts are lit for night play.
Does the club have a restaurant or bar?
No. All events are catered. There are a limited of selection of snacks through a vending machine.
Does the club have locker rooms? Are they ADA accessible?
Yes. Men and women’s locker rooms are ADA accessible, air-conditioned, with storage and private walk-in showers, lavatories and adequate changing space.
Do I need to wear special clothing to play tennis at Royal Palm?
The club requires that members and guests of members wear attire that is made for tennis, and predominantly white.
